Portman Recruitment required more than a standard recruitment website. With vacancies being managed across multiple regions and specialist areas, the business needed a platform capable of reducing manual administration while improving the experience for candidates.

WEBS developed a bespoke recruitment system built around Portman Recruitment’s workflow. The platform imports vacancies, updates existing records, removes expired opportunities and organises jobs into searchable categories and regional listings.

The project also included a custom job alert system, allowing candidates to subscribe to vacancies that match their preferences. As new roles are imported, personalised email alerts are generated automatically, helping keep candidates engaged without requiring manual marketing activity.

Online application and enquiry functionality was also added, allowing candidates to register interest directly from vacancy pages while giving the recruitment team better-quality candidate information.

The result is a recruitment platform that acts as an active business tool rather than simply a vacancy listing website.
