New Portal Facilities August 2019

Two-Factor Authentication adds an additional layer of security by adding a second step to the login process. It takes something you know (i.e. your password) and adds a second factor, typically something you have (such as your phone). Since both are required to log in, the threat of a leaked password is lessened.

FREE Two Factor Authentication

With Time-Based Tokens, in addition to your regular username & password, you also have to enter a 6 digit code that regenerates every 30 seconds. Only your token device (typically a mobile smartphone app) will know your secret key and be able to generate valid one time passwords for your account.

We recommend using Authy App (iOS and Android) as your mobile phone code generator. Install it, then enable Two Factor Authentication in your account area here

Introducing Multiple Pay Methods

A Pay Method can represent a credit card or a bank account and our clients can now have multiple Pay Methods associated with their account.

You can choose any of your available Pay Methods during checkout both for new orders and payment of invoices.

Each Pay Method can also have a different billing address associated with it if required.

This is a frequently requested feature which has now been introduced. You can now use personal / business cards for your account or settle invoices using different Pay Methods from your account area.

Stripe is our preferred credit/debit card payment gateway. It uses a tokenized system to improve security. You only need enter your details once and rather than storing your credit/debit cards, we store a token. This makes it simple for you to pay bills or place orders, without needing to re-enter card details each time.

Updated Stripe Gateway

We are now benefitting from easier PCI compliance and improved 3D-Security. In addition to the GoCardless platform we provide for customers, we are now fully prepared for the upcoming banking changes called SCA (stronger customer authentication).

Your security is our top priority. We do NOT store card details.
