Core Upgrades

We monitor and upgrade your website CMS when new versions are released. This enables new features and fixes security issues.

Security Patches

Minor releases by 3rd party vendors are patched for you. Commercial versions are patched when valid license is supplied.

Monthly Report

Each month we email you a report to show what we upgraded, when we upgraded and which version change took place.

Security Scanning

We can your website for known virus and report them to you. Virus removal is NOT part of maintenance but we will alert you.

Uptime Monitoring

We monitor uptime for your website and report any downtime throughout the month, in your monthly website report.

Blacklist Lookout

We check known RBL Blacklists and report if your website is listed. Knowing quickly avoids interruption to your business.

Backup Your Website

If you do get hacked, how quick can you get back up and running? If you have a clean backup, you have something to work from.

Patch Your Website

No excuses for being busy. Just get it done. If you don’t have time, pay someone to do it for you. Non-maintained websites are the most likely to get hacked.

Secure Your Website

If you aren’t using SSL, you should be. Not only is there an SEO perk, you secure logins and make it harder to intercept transmission of data. In addition, run a firewall on your website even if there is one running on the server.

Monitor Activities and File Changes

Hackers look to exploit existing files and add their own malicious code or they upload new files to execute functions on your website hosting. Proactive monitoring alerts you early so you can tackle the problem straight away.

There is no guarantee here BUT what you MUST do, is minimise the risk and this is what we suggest you do. Whether you do it yourself or pay us to do it for you, is ultimately your call.

What can W.E.B.S Ltd do?

We maintain customers websites by attaching our own maintenance plugin, which actively monitors core system upgrades, plugin updates, security releases as well as monitoring uptime, activity and blacklist reports.

24/7 we monitor and patch websites and once a month, we send an email report, which details exactly what was updated including detailed version change history.

Do W.E.BS Ltd provide backups?

We do not provide backups as standard, as part of our maintenance service. However, if you host your website on our servers, we provide secure backups via Amazon S3 servers as standard.

If you would like us to take backups for your externally hosted website, we can configure backups on our Amazon S3 account, in a custom bucket for you.
