Softaculous Enabled
Not sure what Softaculous is, or why you might find it beneficial to use? Watch our guide video in the post Using Softaculous to Manage Websites to see it in action. In simple terms, it’s a ‘time saver’. A software application which runs inside our CPanel (hosting control panels) which will allow you to install Open Source website applications at a click of a button. You can install, import, clone, copy, delete, update and create staging areas for testing. What used to take hours, now takes seconds.
Multi PHP Support
Running an or version of PHP and concerned that your website won’t operated on the latest PHP (currently 7.3)?
Our servers operate Multi PHP and a hardened version of it. At the time of writing, many sites remain on PHP 5.6 which, as of 1st January 2019, entered EOL stage (end of life). PHP 5.6 is no longer maintained and you are advised to upgrade to later versions.
Using Multi PHP (and softaculous) you can easily test your website by creating a sub domain e.g test.mydomain.com and cloning your existing website using Softaculous. Once you do this, it’s simple to set your sub-domain to use the latest PHP version to perform a thorough testing, prior to updating your main site.
Several highly popular versions of PHP, used in nearly 85% of all PHP sites, are unsupported by the PHP.net community. HardenedPHP secures old and unsupported versions of PHP – 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 7.0, 7.1.
Remote MX Wizard
If you are moving to 365 or G-Suite, you will need to update your MX records and add TXT files and CNAME records. You can do this manually using the provided tools in CPanel, however Remote MX Wizard will allow you to quickly apply the relevant records, if you are moving your email to the cloud.
Billing Integration
Our CPanels are all linked directly to your billing portal and visa versa. This makes it quick and easy for you to access your domains, services, bills, project management area and hosting Cpanel.
Amazon S3 Backups
Quite simply, superb. Peace of mind with the excellent Amazon S3 platform, which we connect ALL of our shared hosting, VPS and dedicated servers to. High Speed SSD Drives
When it comes to web hosting, SSD’s offer better performance, improved reliability and are environmentally friendly in comparison to traditional drives. ALL website hosting provided by W.E.B.S Ltd is served on SSD drives.
High Performance RAM
DDR4 RAM is used (at the time of writing). The two key improvements in DDR4 are power consumption and data transfer speed, thanks to the development of an all-new bus. DDR4 memory will deliver significant benefits in terms of performance and power consumption, compared to DDR3.

Cloud Linux
CloudLinux OS allows us to deliver shared hosting for our business customers, without compromise. It isolates each customer into a separate “Lightweight Virtualized Environment” (LVE), which partitions, allocates, and limits server resources, like memory, CPU, and connections, for each tenant. This ensures that tenants cannot jeopardize the stability of our servers, causing all sites to slow down or even come to a halt. CloudLinux OS also “cages” tenants from one another to avoid security breaches. This way, unstable scripts or malware are not able to sprawl across our customer sites, causing severe harm. In a nutshell, it improves performance for everyone.
Kernel Care
We operate Kernelcare to allow us to patch our servers on time, with the latest kernel, without needing to schedule reboots and causing downtime for our customers. We can stay up to date on all security patches to avoid disastrous incidents. KernelCare checks for new patches every four hours, and automatically applies those patches.
Immunify AV
The leading malware scanning solution. Keeping malicious code out of your files is essential to protect your websites, be they based on PHP (such as WordPress, Joomla or Drupal), or built with classic, static HTML. ImmunifyAV thoroughly sweeps files and accurately identifies malicious code, notifying you of any issues on your websites.
CSF Firewall
A Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall, Login/Intrusion Detection and Security application for Linux servers which works on all our servers, as an addition to hardware firewalls.
